We wanted a family garden with only a small area for lawn. We had a trouble spot down the side of the house that was overgrown in weeds. We needed a small play area for a young child plus a large paved area for the older children. We also wanted space to grow some tomatoes and a somewhere to entertain friends. We wanted low maintence and only had a low budget.

Patch of Heaven Provided an excellent all round service. Work is of a really high standard and they kept within our budget. We were forever battling with our garden and now its somewhere the whole family goes. it’s a great practical design that really works for us.

Great professional service . High standard of work.. We already liked the layout of our garden but we wanted our paths redirected and for the lawn to be re-laid. Patch of heaven helped with the re design and our lawn has never looked better.

Design Comments

Our Solution was to make the paths wider and give them a little curve to create the illusion that the garden was wider than it actually is. We used york stone to keep the design linked to the 1930’s house. We then removed the perenial weeds from the lawn area and levelled any areas that had dipped over time. The area was than fed and good quality turf laid on top
