After our intial meeting and a budget agreed upon we will present you with ideas based on your brief which will show the main layout and components of your garden. You also have the option of having a concept board. These can be adapted including your input to produce the presentation plan.

The presentation plan outlines, theme(s) and ‘feel’ of the garden and is developed more fully; materials chosen and planting styles decided.

The plan is drawn to scale and if required will include detailed construction drawings of any major building work.

A construction plan is often drawn to a larger scale outlining specifications as needed. For example:- measurements, levels, elevations, cross-sections, axonometric sketches, setting out points, ducting, key-lines and materials.

The planting plan identifies the exact layout and number of plants specified.

If a planting plan is required the designer will choose plants to create the theme or effects you require, considering: hardiness - Soil type and drainage - Sunny or shady areas - Plant height, outline and vigour - Overall shape, texture and size of leaf - Fragrance, flower colour and flowering season.

Maintenance levels, durability and hardiness'

 A spreadsheet of plant numbers and indicative costs of plants is also written.

Other plans including lighting, drainage and irrigation as sometimes required.
